So Generous

Clark and I are Brigham Young University Alumni. We loved our experiences at BYU and feel that it is an institution worthy of our money. Unfortunately, at this time, we don't have much to give. We are contacted annually for their fund drive. I usually speak with a young, peppy co-ed. Of course, a majority of their conversation is scripted. I was very amused today when I received the traditional phone call and she launched into her dialog and said, "Kim, we appreciated your very generous donation of ten dollars." It makes me wish I had only donated one dollar just to hear how silly it sounded!

The Perks of Being a Mom

There are those rare days that I get to have fun at my kids expense instead of the other way around. Well, maybe expense is a strong word. These pictures show two little boys who definitely seem to be having fun. They truly seem to be liking my shenanigans and I had enough fun in one night to laugh for a week or more.

Russell usually likes to style his hair during dinner. What you can't tell is that he has smeared applesauce, mushed carrots, rice, and cereal in his hair. I just took his style one step further and added gel to preserve his creation.

The question begs to be asked: Does Jaron use a special "gel" on his hair or was that more of Russell's creation?

"Mmmm tastes good."

Who doesn't have fun with underwear on their head??

Russell actually prefers it over his face. It makes it easier to eat that way.
