Some Halloween and Some Irony

As most of you probably did, we thoroughly enjoyed Halloween this year. Although, I think it's more like Halloween week or month with all the fun and games that goes on around here. I still can't get over the bucket loads of candy my kids bring home. We were surprised to find our large bowl of candy empty after 1 1/2 hours of being gone. Someone was having an glutenous night!

I love this cow costume. And Eliza was all smiles all night. She was great for the marathon trick-or-treating and was offered plenty of candy that we declined. Our line finally became, "She's strictly on an all grass diet."

Russell was in to being a frog. I was willing to make or buy him something different this year but he was happily hopping and ribbiting around the house. Why mess with that?

The irony this year was Jaron. He decided he wanted to be a mailman. I find it sweet and amusing. Sweet because I love that this was so completely thrilling to him and just a great idea because it was very different from a lot of the other costumes. But ironic in the fact that I've detested the postal system this year. Lots of our neighbors asked if he had some mis-delivered mail for them. Yah right! However, I believe that if Jaron was delivering the mail there wouldn't be one mistake. He has such strict attention to detail and routine there wouldn't be one problem!
